I’ve Always B een Different

I see the world differently I’ve been different my whole life I never really noticed my differences I guess it’s just because I’m different I like to watch the sunset every night I can Atop a big hill sitting on the ledge I’ve been told it makes me different But I don’t care The sunset is the one thing I can rely on It never fails to do its job I wish I was like the sun The sun’s not different Well maybe it is There is only one sun It helps everyone always Everyone relies on it without realizing it

I wonder if the sun’s okay No one ever questions how the sun feels

It’s always shining That’s just its job

No one thinks the sun needs helps No one thinks to question the sun No one considers the sun’s feelings It’s like they wouldn’t notice if the sun was gone But really the sun’s just a burning ball of gas The sun has problems too The sun shines so you don’t see it burning But eventually the sun will burn out

The sun is different And I am just like the sun
